How can I get the Hybrid Debit Mastercard?
You can open a Eurobank account through the Eurobank Mobile App. As long as you are a new Eurobank client.

If you already hold a Debit Mastercard and want to switch to a Hybrid Debit Mastercard, you can do so through your e-Banking or the Eurobank Mobile App.
Through your e-Banking
- On the Dashboard, choose:
- Your card and then Cancel card.
or
- Settings > Card settings and your card. Then choose Cancel.
- Return to the Dashboard and choose: Products & Services > Cards > Debit card.
Through the Eurobank Mobile App
- On the homepage, choose:
- Your debit card and then Settings > Cancel card.
or
- Settings > Card settings and the card you’re interested in. Then choose Cancel card.
- Return to the homepage and choose: Products > Cards > Debit card.
Whichever option you choose, you verify your identity by receiving a One-Time Passcode (OTP) on your mobile or using your biometrics.
Upon reissuing, you receive the Hybrid Debit Mastercard. After cancellation, the new card terms and conditions will apply and not the Debit Mastercard ones.
To which accounts can I link my debit card?
You may link any payment account as the primary account for your Hybrid Debit Mastercard.
Other types of accounts, such as the Saving Now or loan repayment accounts, can only be linked as secondary accounts.
Can I link more accounts to my card?
Yes. Choose the accounts you want to link to your debit card through the Eurobank Mobile App or your e-Banking. Set one of them as your primary account for payments.
Your primary account:
- Appears first when you withdraw cash at any Eurobank ΑΤΜ.
- Is charged automatically when you shop using your debit card.
When you carry out any transaction at a Eurobank ATM, you have access to all your accounts that are linked to your card. You choose which one you want to charge.
How do I receive and activate my card?
The Hybrid Debit Mastercard is virtual.
Once the process is completed, you have access to its details and you can use it immediately. You do not need to activate it.
If you have also applied for a physical debit card, for your own security you will receive it deactivated and by post, to the address you provided when applying.
You can activate your physical card:
- From your mobile or computer, through your card settings in the Eurobank Mobile App or e-Banking.
- Over the phone, +30 2109555000.
How can I view my virtual card details?
Through the Eurobank Mobile App and e-Banking you choose the Hybrid Debit Mastercard and then: Card settings > Show card details.
All the card details appear on this screen: card number, PIN, CVV and expiry date.
Will my card details change if I also get a physical Hybrid Debit Mastercard?
Your card number will remain the same. However, once the physical Hybrid Debit Mastercard is issued, the CVV and expiry date shown on the physical card will apply.
In that case, you will need to review any standing orders linked to your Hybrid Debit Mastercard and update your card details, where necessary.
Can I add my debit card to digital wallets?
Yes. You can add your Hybrid Debit Mastercard to Apple Pay and Google Pay through the Eurobank Mobile App or the respective app of your device. You can add your card to Garmin Pay through the app supported by your device.
Make secure payments in a flash using your Apple or Google devices, or your Garmin smartwatch. Make contactless payments at POS terminals and online.
All your card benefits apply as usual to your contactless transactions through your digital wallet.
What should I do if I lose my card?
If you’re not sure whether you’ve lost your card, you can freeze it temporarily using Cards Control through your e-Banking or the Eurobank Mobile App, rather than cancelling it right away.
This way no one can use it to withdraw cash at ATMs or shop online or in-store. You can unfreeze it at any time, as soon as you find it.
If you don’t find your card, choose to get it reissued through your card settings on your e-Banking or the Eurobank Mobile App.

You can also have your debit card cancelled at one of our branches.
If you hold a Eurobank My Advantage Banking transaction and benefit package, your debit card is reissued free of charge. The free reissuing applies to the primary account holder.
If you do not hold a Eurobank My Advantage Banking package and lose your debit card, choose to get it reissued through e-Banking or the Eurobank Mobile App, at a 50% discount, for €3.
How do I benefit in my day-to-day shopping?
Your Hybrid Debit Mastercard is linked to the €pistrofi loyalty programme. Instead of points, you earn €pistrofi euros every time you use your debit card at more than 8,900 businesses in Greece and Cyprus that have joined the loyalty programme.
Redeem your €pistrofi euros next time you shop and save money on expenses you would have made anyway to meet your actual needs.
€pistrofi euros are valid for up until 1 year from the date you earn them.
The annual redemption limit is 1,000 €pistrofi euros.
How can I build up my tax deductions?
When you shop or pay with your Hybrid Debit Mastercard, the tax deduction calculator automatically adds together all the transactions that build up your tax deductions: e.g. online payments, and online or in-store shopping.
You can view the total amount of your expenses up to that point from your mobile or computer:
- e-Banking-> Analysis > Spending Categories & Tax Free
- Eurobank Mobile App > Analysis > Spending Categories & Tax Free
How can I keep track of my card transactions?
On the e-Banking dashboard, choose the Hybrid Debit Mastercard. There you can view all transactions you carried out with your debit card, as well as your online transactions.
You can also monitor your transactions through the Eurobank Mobile App. On the homepage, choose your debit card or the account linked to it.

I lost the mobile that had my virtual debit card in it. What should I do?
If your mobile gets lost or stolen:
- Have your card cancelled or reissued through the Eurobank Mobile App or your e-Banking.

- Call the dedicated EuroPhone Personal Banking on +30 210 955 5000 to cancel your card.

If you’ve blocked your card PIN, you can reissue it online.
Through your e-Banking
On the Dashboard, choose:
- Your card and then Reissue PIN.

- Settings > Card settings and your card. Then choose Reissue PIN.
Through the Eurobank Mobile App
On the homepage, choose:
- Your debit card and then Settings > Reissue PIN.
or
- Settings > Card settings and the card you’re interested in. Then choose Reissue PIN.
Whichever option you choose, you verify your identity by receiving a One-Time Passcode (OTP) on your mobile or using your biometrics.
Is contactless technology safe?
Yes, it is absolutely safe.
If you use a physical card, contactless transactions are based on Chip & PIN technology. They are carried out according to security regulations set by international organisations.
