The UPI (Unified Payments Interface) is the Indian certified payment system, developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The UPI is the main pillar of the Indian digital economy, as it accelerates the transition from cash and POS to instant, day-to-day digital payments.
