The Travellers Prepaid card is available exclusively through the Eurobank Mobile App. It is not accompanied by a physical card and there is no PIN.
It is ideal for travelling abroad. You can use it anywhere in the world, for your transactions in foreign currency or euros:
- Online
- At a POS terminal with contactless technology

Load it easily through the Eurobank Mobile App or your e-Banking and use it as soon as you get it.
How you load it
The loading or reloading of the Travellers Prepaid card can be done by:
You, the cardholder. You transfer to the card the amount you want from an account you hold at Eurobank.
- A third party. They transfer to the card the amount they want from an account they hold at Eurobank.
- To unload your card, transfer its available balance to any account you hold at Eurobank.
Loading or reloading charges
Issuing and loading your card up to any amount is free of charge.
As soon as you get your card, you can carry out the initial loading.
Any time you load your card, the amount cannot exceed €2,000.
If you spend the entire amount in 1 day, you can reload your card, but always up to the maximum loading limit.
Only the exchange rate conversion applies in your transactions.

Contactless transactions with your mobile or watch
Make contactless payments with the digital wallet supported by your device to all businesses that have a POS terminal.
You can add it to the digital wallets:
- Google Pay™
- Apple Pay
- Garmin Pay
Shop any day with 0% added currency conversion charges
With the virtual Travellers Prepaid card, you enjoy your experiences at any destination.
You can shop in foreign currency any day of the week, with 0% added currency conversion charges, even on the weekends.
Online shopping
You can also use your Travellers Prepaid virtual card to shop online. It is accepted at all online stores with the VISA logo in Greece and abroad.
To complete an online transaction with your card, you get a push notification on your mobile through the Eurobank Mobile App.
On the window that appears, you go through strong authentication:
- Using biometrics: Face ID or Touch ID. Your mobile has to support biometric authentication technology and you need to have these features activated on your device.
- With the 4-digit PIN you have set to log into the Eurobank Mobile App.
If your card details are stolen or you suspect they have been stolen, you can cancel the card instantly through the Eurobank Mobile App or your e-Banking.

Issuing and reloading the Travellers Prepaid card up to any amount is free of charge.
As soon as you get your card, you can carry out the initial loading.
For transactions in foreign currency within and outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the foreign currency is directly converted into euros, according to the Visa network’s exchange rate.

You can carry out transactions with your Travellers Prepaid card at any business that accepts card payments.
However, you cannot use your card to carry out transactions at MCC retailers who deal in:
- Money transfers, such as transactions with financial institutions.
- Financial services, such as quasi cash and cryptocurrencies.
- Foreign exchange services.
- Gambling, such as casino, betting, horse racing, dog racing and electronic games.
When does my card expire and what do I need to do if I want to carry out transactions after its expiry?
Your card is valid for 2 years from the date it is issued.
Once the card expires, you’ll need to get a new one, following the exact same process through the Eurobank Mobile App.
You can retrieve the CVV of your Travellers Prepaid card through the Eurobank Mobile App, under Card settings.
You can also retrieve your card CVV through e-Banking, by choosing the card on the dashboard.
You can report loss or cancel your card:
- Through your e-Banking or the Eurobank Mobile App.
- Over the phone, through EuroPhone International +302109555345.
- At one of our branches.
If the mobile, tablet or watch to which you’ve added the Travellers Prepaid card is lost or stolen, you’ll need to follow the respective instructions for your device.
- For Android devices follow the instructions for Find My Device.
- For Apple devices follow the Find My for iPhone and iPad or Apple Watch.
- For Garmin watches remove the card from the Garmin ConnectTM app on your mobile.

- Through your e-Banking and the Eurobank Mobile App.
