Through the Moving Family Forward corporate social responsibility initiative, we form an extended and dynamic ecosystem of actions to support Greek families. We work with recognised organisations and NGOs, and actively contribute to supporting young people throughout all the stages of starting their own families.

For addressing infertility

For addressing infertility

We are standing by Be-Live, an NPO involved in assisted reproduction based on medical, financial and social criteria.

We support its actions in assisting couples from the remote eastern parts of the country who are facing infertility problems to have children and in launching public awareness campaigns.

Specifically, supported by Eurobank, Be-Live:

  • Covers the IVF costs for couples living on the islands of the NE Aegean and the Dodecanese – medications, monitoring, hospital expenses, blood tests, foetal ultrasounds, etc.

Reinforcing entrepreneurship in Evros with AFI Microfinance

Reinforcing entrepreneurship in Evros with AFI Microfinance

We support AFI Microfinance’s work in financing permanent residents in Evros to start their own businesses and grow its operations in their own hometowns.

In addition, through AFI’s programme, beneficiaries have more chances to succeed in their first business steps, since they:

  • Get new training opportunities to fields linked to their businesses.
  • Receive personalised guidance to develop a realistic and sustainable business plan.

In that way, they are motivated to stay in their hometowns and shape their own paths as new entrepreneurs.

Teachers on remote islands

Teachers on remote islands

We stand by the families who live in small islands in Greece. In partnership with the Apostoli NGO, the charity organisation of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, we cover the needs of their children for creativity.

8 teachers were placed on small islands to offer free activities to primary school students:

  • Robotics lessons on Agios Efstratios and Kasos
  • Music lessons on Kastellorizo
  • Speech therapy on Oinousses and Tilos
  • Dance therapy on Astypalaia and Psara
  • Recreational activities on Chalki

Our aim is to enrich the knowledge and sharpen the skills of the children who live in these islands, so that they continue to dream big.

For the family’s emotional support

We are standing by the Together for Children NGO for the emotional support services it offers through the 11525 Mental Health Helpline for parents/guardians and teenagers across Greece.

Through our sponsorship, we actively support the operation of the Helpline and reinforce its efforts to provide guidance for family-related issues and dilemmas.

In addition, exclusively supported by Eurobank, Together for Children runs psycho-educational seminars (online and face-to-face) for future and new parents living in remote areas and islands of the country.
