When you get a WWF Visa, you support WWF Greece when your credit card is issued or renewed and when you use it to pay or shop. You earn cashback rewards from the €pistrofi loyalty programme. It supports contactless technology.
Support WWF Hellas without paying extra
We financially support WWF Hellas so it may continue its independent mission. Without you having to pay any extra, we donate:
- 0.07% of the value of your transactions.
- €3 every time a new WWF VISA is issued.
- €1.50 every time your WWF VISA is renewed.
- €8.80 if you already are a member of WWF Greece and get a WWF Visa.
What we have accomplished so far
We have funded many actions that seek to protect the environment. For example, we have supported:
- Programmes to raise awareness among citizens and educate the school community on environmental issues.
- Actions to support valuable natural habitats, such as Sekania on Zakynthos island or the Dadia National Park, where rare Balkan birds of prey find refuge and a place to reproduce.
- The Zagori Nature and Culture information centre in Small Papingo, the Northern Pindos National Park team of forest-protection volunteers, and the creation of tools for the eco-tourism development of the area.
Continuing to support WWF Hellas
We continue to fund WWF through the WWF Visa. We actively participate in actions and programmes that raise public awareness on environmental issues.

Strong customer authentication
When carrying out transactions online with your credit card, you are authenticated with strong customer authentication:
- Through the Eurobank Mobile App.
- With the One-Time Password (OTP) you receive by SMS on the mobile you registered when signing up to e-Banking.
This ensures that the transactions are carried out by you, reducing the risk of fraud.
It is easy and secure to manage the settings of your credit card with Cards Control through your mobile or computer.
- Freeze/Unfreeze your card temporarily if you are not sure whether you have misplaced it, rather than cancelling it right away. The temporary freeze does not allow you to withdraw cash at ATMs or shop online or in-store.

If you’re not sure whether you’ve lost it, you can freeze it temporarily using Cards Control through the Eurobank Mobile App or your e-Banking, rather than cancelling it right away. During each tax year, only the instalments you’ve paid for during that year are counted.
For example, let’s say you buy an electronic device for €600 in 6 interest-free instalments in October. Only the amount for the first 3 instalments, i.e. €300, counts towards the tax deductions for that year. The next 3 instalments count towards the tax deductions for the next tax year.
