With IRIS e-commerce, you shop online through the secure Eurobank e-Banking environment. You don’t need a credit, prepaid or debit card. The payment is directly charged to your account.
Card-free shopping
Shop online even if you don’t hold a credit, prepaid or debit card.
As soon as you complete your order, you are transferred to e-Banking and your shopping is directly charged to your account.
No registration needed
To use IRIS e-commerce, you don’t need to register anywhere. You only need your Eurobank e-Banking credentials (Username and Password)
If you don’t have e-Banking, sign up online. You will need:
- The number and PIN of an active Eurobank debit or credit card issued in your name.
- The mobile number you have registered with Eurobank.

Shopping history
With e-Banking, you have access to your shopping history. Log into e-Banking using your credentials and then:
- Choose My Transactions > Transaction Log.
- Under Transaction Results, choose the transaction you want from the TRANSACTION TYPE field.
- Fill in the other details in the fields and choose SEARCH.

For your business purchases
Use IRIS e-commerce to shop from your business account.
If you are the business owner or legal representative, IRIS e-commerce is automatically activated when you sign up to e-Banking.
Otherwise, to use it, you must bring us an authorisation from the appropriate business representative.
In addition, you must have activated One-Time Passcodes (OTP). To activate them, log into e-Banking and choose:
Settings > Security settings > One-Time Passcode (OTP) > Activate.
For your customers
If you are the owner of an online shop, you can offer your customers an additional method of payment when they shop. They only need to have e-Banking at Eurobank, Alpha Bank, the National Bank of Greece or Piraeus Bank.
Shopping history
With e-Banking, you have access to your shopping history. Log into e-Banking using your credentials and then:
- Choose My Transactions > Transaction Log.
- Under Transaction Results, choose the transaction you want from the TRANSACTION TYPE field.
- Fill in the other details in the fields and choose SEARCH.
Through the secure Eurobank electronic environment
Choose Eurobank from the bank list and you are automatically transferred to the secure e-Banking environment.
Once you fill in your e-Banking credentials, the details of your order are displayed. Choose the account you want to charge for your shopping.
One-Time Passcode
You receive a One-Time Passcode (OTP) on the mobile you have registered on your e-Banking. Enter the OPT in the appropriate field.
You can activate the OTP service the first time you log into e-Banking.
Otherwise, you may activate it online at any other time. However, you need to have already registered your mobile number with Eurobank.
Log into e-Banking and choose:
Settings > Security settings > One-Time Passcode (OTP)

Finishing your shopping
A message appears when the transaction is executed successfully. If you want, you can print out the payment receipt. When you return to the e-shop, your purchase is completed.
The Eurobank systems are protected by strong next generation Firewall. When you carry out transactions, your data is transferred encrypted using a 256-bit key and the TLS protocol for communications. This means your transactions are carried out within a secure electronic environment.
Only your customers who have e-Banking at Eurobank, Alpha Bank, the National Bank of Greece or Piraeus Bank may pay with IRIS e-commerce.
Otherwise, if your customers do not have e-Banking with a Greek bank, they can shop at your e-shop with a credit, prepaid or debit card.
To recover your credentials online, you need:
- The number and PIN of an active Eurobank debit or credit card issued in your name.
- The mobile number you have registered with Eurobank.
