Username and Password
Log into your e-Banking using your Username and Password. This is a unique combination known only to you.
Change password every 6 months
For your security, the system requires you to change your Password every 6 months.
Otherwise, you may change your Password as often as you like. Choose:
Profile > Settings > Security settings > Change Password
Automatic logout
If you log into your e-Banking and remain idle for more than 10 minutes, the system will automatically log you out.
To carry out any transaction once this time limit has elapsed, you need to log in again using your e-Banking credentials.
There is a timer on the e-Banking screen informing you of the time remaining until automatic logout. Any time you visit another page, the timer resets.
Locked credentials
To safeguard access to your e-Banking, we lock your e-Banking credentials when the wrong Password is entered 3 times in a row. If it was you who made the mistake, you can get a new Password online.
You will need:
- The number and PIN of an active Eurobank debit or credit card issued in your name.
- The mobile number you have registered with Eurobank.
You may also get a temporary e-Banking Password over the phone, if you have a EuroPhone Banking PIN. Call EuroPhone, 24/7:
- +302109555000
Otherwise come to one of our branches.

Secure https pages
All e-Banking pages run in a secure online environment.
You know you are visiting a secure page, when the web address changes from http:// to https://. At the same time, the padlock icon appears at the beginning of the address.
Encryption
We use the TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol with 256-bit encryption to protect your data.
256-bit encryption means that there are 2^256 possible combinations to encrypt messages sent from the browser to the Eurobank server. Cracking it is considered practically impossible.
Firewall
We use Firewall technology to prevent any unauthorised access to the Eurobank systems. Firewall allows certain services, while blocking others. Moreover, it prohibits unidentified users to access systems and databases that contain confidential Eurobank data and information.
One-Time Passcode (OTP)
To carry out any transaction, you need to enter a One-Time Passcode (OTP) as an additional security layer, e.g., when retrieving your credentials, paying bills, transferring money to others, making purchases. You receive the OTP by SMS on the mobile you registered when signing up to e-Banking.
The OTP is valid for a short period of time and for one transaction only.
If you wish to carry out another transaction, you need to request a new OTP.
You may activate the OTP service the first time you log into e-Banking.
Otherwise, you may activate it online at any other time. However, you need to have already registered your mobile number with Eurobank.
Log into e-Banking and choose:
Profile > Settings > Security settings > One-Time Passcode
Otherwise come to one of our branches.
Additional step for transaction approval
If our advanced systems flag certain e-Banking or Eurobank Mobile App transactions as suspicious, we offer you an additional way to check they are valid.
Before completing the transaction, an additional authorisation step appears on your screen. It informs you that you also need to approve the transaction through your mobile:
- On your screen you see a 4-digit code, the last digits of your mobile where the confirmation SMS was sent and the time left to complete the additional step.
- You receive an SMS from Eurobank with a link. Open the link to see the 4-digit code. The two codes must be the same.
- Check closely the transaction details.
- Approve or reject the transaction.
If you approve the transaction, you can complete it through e-Banking or the Eurobank Mobile App. Just continue from the point you stopped.
The advanced additional security mechanism for your online transactions does not need to be activated. We activate it automatically when necessary. This way, we ensure that your transactions are valid.
Lower transaction limits
You may lower your transaction limits through your e-Banking.
The daily transaction limit for e-Banking is €12,000. It is calculated based on the Eurobank accounting date. To lower the limit, log into e-Banking and choose:
Profile > Settings > e-Banking transaction limit
