As part of its strategy to offer its clients the most complete and modern range of services via the Internet, EFG Eurobank will now be collaborating with Yannis Costopoulos, who has taken over as Advisor to the Management of the Bank on the Internet and its applications. EFG Eurobank has already developed an integrated range of banking services available over the Internet (e-banking), and its objective is to further strengthen its presence in that sector by constantly upgrading and developing the services available to its clients through e-banking and electronic marketing applications.
Mr Costopoulos, 43, has a background in the consumer products field. His most recent post was Regional Manager for Central and Eastern Europe and Greece for Johnson and Johnson. Before that, his employers included Procter & Gamble, Chase Manhattan Bank, and the Booz Allen and Hamilton consultancy firm in London. He returned to Greece in 1991 and was Managing Director of S.H. and A. Metaxas until early 1998.
