Dimitris Verriopoulos, with extensive experience in the banking and stock exchange sectors, will be taking over as Deputy General Manager of EFG Eurobank Ergasias as of Monday, April 3rd, 2006. D. Verriopoulos will be in charge of the Private Banking Division and will also be appointed as Member of the Board of Directors of EFG Private Bank, Luxemburg and EFG Eurobank Asset Management S.A.
Since 2000 and until recently, D. Verriopoulos was Head of Alpha Bank’s Private Banking. From 1996 to 2000 he was Managing Director, Sales and Operations Development Manager of Alpha Securities, while from 1991 to 1996 he was Institutional Sales & Analysis Manager with the same company.
From 1987 to 1989 he worked for Oddo & Cie, Paris as Head of the Futures & Options Department and Chief Εconomist. In1986, he also worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington D.C.
D. Verriopoulos holds a post-graduate degree (DEA) in Monetary Economics from Paris IX-Dauphine University and a degree (Maitrise) in Monetary Economics from the same University.
