A new state-of-the-art branch was inaugurated by Eurobank EFG in the Panorama, Voula, district on Friday, March 02, 2012. The design of the new branch is based on a groundbreaking customer service concept, fully complying with the client-oriented approach that characterizes the Bank's philosophy. This approach is reflected on the layout of the new branch, which places the customer at the epicenter, with large open spaces that represent our open, “ready t listen” approach towards the customers' new thoughts/ideas/suggestions, as well as private offices where personalized specific solutions are offered in strict confidence to each individual customer.
Inaugurating the new branch, the CEO of Eurobank, Mr. Nicholas Nanopoulos pointed out that: “We emphasize on promoting the launch of Eurobank's new state-of-the-art branch at Panorama, Voula, believing that we are sending a wider message: in this tough situation for the economy, and the country at large, Eurobank not only refuses to fall back, but on the contrary, is steadily gazing to the future, supporting with actions, instead of words, its decision to remain an active and dynamic market player; to support its clients, to honor their trust and to continually upgrade the quality of the services rendered to them.”
In his turn, the Deputy CEO of Eurobank ΕFG, Mr. Byron Ballis stressed that: “Our primary objective is to provide our customers with services that meet their requirements, placing increased emphasis on Personal Banking, which requires specialized investment-brokerage services and efficient asset management, on our Business and Professional clients and their complex–due also to the situation– needs, simultaneously offering specialized insurance services and products that cover all types of personal, family or business risk.”
According to Mr. Ballis, “our Bank does not only contemplate, but also prepares itself for, the day after. In an era when everything seems to shrink and dwindle, we are inaugurating this new, state-of-the-art branch in Panorama, Voula, in the southern suburbs of Athens, a district that had attracted the interest and activity of our Bank from the very beginning. We are here today to reciprocate our clients' trust, and support the local community.”
Mr. Vlastarakis, General Manager of the Bank's branch network, referred to Eurobank's activity in the wider area, stressing that in the districts of Glyfada, Voula, Varkiza and Vouliagmeni, Eurobank has 7 branches that cater to the needs of more than 60,000 customers. “We have supported local economic activity, since only in the municipalities of Glyfada, Vari, Voula and Vouliagmeni we have extended loans of more than €400 million to small-sized enterprises and retail customers, without including loans to large enterprises, which are centrally administered.”, Mr Vlastarakis said.
On the occasion of the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Ballis presented Mr. Dimitris Vattis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SOS Children’s Villages Greece, with a cheque that covers the heating oil expenses of the SOS Children's Village of Vari for an entire year.
