EFG Eurobank Ergasias is proceeding with a gradual transition of its ATM network, in order to ensure continuous and uninterrupted client service during the transition to the Euro.
Specifically, until midnight (12:00 a.m.) of Monday, December 31, 2001, ATMs will continue to operate in GRD, with no suspension of operations. The gradual transition of the ATM network to Euro will begin at 00:01 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2002. It should be noted that each ATM will continue to operate in GRD uninterruptedly, until the moment of its transition to the Euro.
Of the total 546 ATMs of the Bank, 70% will be operating in Euros during Tuesday, January 1, 2002. The transition to the Euro of the rest of the ATM network will be completed on Wednesday, January 2, 2002.
