In this study, we examine the rationale behind why the Greek economy should prioritize investing in infrastructure in the forthcoming years. We empirically estimate the determinants of infrastructure investments and present the challenges facing these investments in the areas of financing, labor shortages, increased construction costs, and the climate crisis.
