The Sustainability Management Committee is established by the Eurobank CEO.
Role and responsibilities
The Sustainability Management Committee has been appointed to:
- Provide strategic direction on sustainability initiatives.
- Review the Sustainability Strategy, Net Zero targets and transition plans prior to approval.
- Εnsure that the Sustainability Strategy elements and Net Zero commitments are integrated into the Group’s business model and operations.
- Approve changes in eligible assets of the Green Bond and Sustainable Finance Frameworks.
- Regularly measure and analyse the progress of the Sustainability Strategy goals and performance targets.
- Ensure proper implementation of the relevant policies and procedures, in accordance with supervisory requirements and voluntary commitments.
The Sustainability Management Committee convenes four times a year and/or ad hoc when necessary. Other Bank employees, depending on the subject to be discussed, may be invited as deemed appropriate.
Appointment and office term
The Eurobank CEO appoints the Sustainability Management Committee members.
