Postbank, a subsidiary of Eurobank Group, has completed 30 years of successful presence in the Bulgarian market. On this occasion, a special event with the message "Together, we shape the future" was organized at the Grand Hotel Millennium in Sofia, on Tuesday 18 October 2022. The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Rumen Radev and the Ambassador of Greece to Bulgaria, Mr. Dimitrios Chronopoulos, who delivered a welcome speech, honored the event with their presence.
CEO and Chairperson of Postbank’s Management Board, Mrs. Petia Dimitrova, in her opening statement welcomed Mr. Fokion Karavias, CEO of Eurobank, who gave a speech, Mr. Stavros Ioannou, Deputy CEO of the Bank and Mr. Michalis Louis, Head of International Activities General Division & Group Private Banking.
In his speech to the guests, President Mr. Rumen Radev, emphasized the Bank's establishment over the years among the leaders in its sector. He added that this became possible thanks to the visionary view of the management and personally of Petia Dimitrova, as well as the cohesive team, which have brought the financial institution to leading positions in banking and in offering innovative products. The president also noted that this year he presented the "Bank of the Year" prize, precisely to Petia Dimitrova.
Mr. Rumen Radev drew attention to the social-responsible activities of Postbank, as well as to its partnership with leading universities around the world and analytical centers, and added that "it not only captures the trends that are developing in the banking sector, business and technology, but also managed to very quickly introduce them into its activity in Bulgaria". Mr. Rumen Radev wished Postbank team and management to stay close to their customers and partners and to continue confidently and innovatively looking into the future.
