New mortgage programme EuroHome

New EuroHome Subsidised from 2.75%EFG Eurobank Ergasias proceeded to a significant decrease in the interest rate of the mortgage-lending programme EuroHome. Moreover, the Bank now offers new subsidised mortgage lending programmes.

New mortgage programme EuroHome 4.75% fixed for one year

New EuroHome Subsidised from 2.75%EFG Eurobank Ergasias proceeded to a significant decrease in the interest rate of the mortgage-lending programme EuroHome. Moreover, the Bank now offers new subsidised mortgage lending programmes. As of Monday, June 18, 2001 the mortgage lending programme EuroHome will be offered at an interest rate of 4.75% (from 5.70%), fixed for one year. Based on the new interest rate, the monthly instalment falls to Grd. 5,289 (€ 15.52) per each million Grd borrowed (€ 2,935). After the first year the interest rate turns from fixed to the current monthly floating rate. Also, as of Monday, June 18, EFG Eurobank Ergasias will introduce mortgage-lending programmes for first home, subsidised by the Greek State. These programmes will be offered at an interest rate of 2.75% fixed for the first year, which is the lowest in the Greek market. The amount subsidised depends on the clients’ marital status, their yearly income and the ‘objective value’ of the estate, as set by tax authorities. All mortgage lending programmes of the Bank, both fixed and floating are eligible for subsidy from the Greek State. Clients are free to choose the programme that best fits their housing needs. The applied rates for subsidised mortgage lending programmes with fixed income for one year are as follows:

  • Financing up to 100% of the estate value
  • Great flexibility in the duration of loan repayment, up to 30 years
  • Grace period up to 2 years
  • Option for early, partial or full repayment
  • Automatic approval of Open Personal Eurobank Loan of Grd. 1 million (€ 2,935)
  • Possibility to transfer and pay-off of mortgage loans issued by other banks.
