EFG Eurobank Ergasias is offering an innovative investment product to its retail, private banking and corporate clients. The subscription period is from the 16th of July until the 20th of July.The product is a three-month 100% capital-guarantee deposit in EUR, linked to the EUR/USD exchange rate. If the FX rate remains within a pre-specified range throughout the life of the investment, then the investor receives a 10% gross annualised return at maturity. However, if at any time this range is breached, then the investor gets a second chance in an appropriately adjusted range. In such a case, the investor will still receive 10% at maturity if the FX rate remains within the adjusted range throughout the remaining period of the investment. In the event that this second range is breached, then the investor will receive 100% of the initial capital back at maturity.
This product is distributed through the 330 Eurobank and Ergasias retail branches in Greece. Minimum investment denomination is set at EUR 10,000.
