Following an audit, the British Standards Institute last week ascertained that the main services of EFG Eurobank Ergasias adhere to quality-control standards consistent with the international ISO 9001. The services being awarded the certificate are:
- Custodian services, including clearing, settlement, corporate action and trustee services for institutional investors, mutual funds and retail clients
- Derivatives market margin bank services
- Shareholders' registery services
- Payment services
- Swift / telex services
- Training and development services
- Procurement
- IT and systems support
- Employment services.
It is worth noting that the above certifications apply to the new departments which resulted from the operational and administrative rationalisation of the corresponding departments of EFG Eurobank and Ergobank, which recently merged.
Certification by ISO 9001 confirms the high standards applying to both procedures and operations in the new banking organisation. These ensure the high quality and secure nature of the services provided in all areas, to the benefit of customers.
