The increase of the cost of money and the rise of the interbank rate (Euribor) in the current period, in conjunction with the tight liquidity conditions that continue to prevail in the Greek banking market, necessitate the adjustment of the Bank’s interest rates in Greece as follows:
a. Interest rates of Current Account deposits for Individuals are increased by up to 50 basis points.
b. Variable interest rates of credit cards and consumer loans are increased by up to 50 basis points.

The new interest rates will apply as of Monday, November 1st, 2010.
