EFG Eurobank Cuts Interest Rates

Keeping pace with market developments, EFG Eurobank will be reducing interest rates on deposits and loans as of Monday, 1 May 2000.
Keeping pace with market developments, EFG Eurobank will be reducing interest rates on deposits and loans as of Monday, 1 May 2000.
The new interest rates will be as follows:
  • Savings deposits 6 % (from 6.50 %)
  • "Bonus" floating rate on mortgages 10 % (from 10.75%)
  • Interest rate on mortgages with initial 3-year fixed-interest rate period 8.40% (from 9%)
  • "Open" loans 19% (from 20%)
  • Personal loans 18.50% (from 19.50%)
  • Loans for consumer durables 19.50% (from 21%)
  • Eurobank Visa 19,50% (from 21%)
  • Mastercard 19.50% (from 21%)
    All other interest rates applied by the Bank will remain unchanged.
