Through the platform you get mentoring from senior executives in the Greek market, as well as the opportunity to look for job openings. At the same time, you get updated on the conditions that will facilitate your repatriation.

About the BrainReGain initiative
BrainReGain is a non-profit initiative seeking to create communication channels between Greek scientists and professionals living and working abroad, and the Greek business community. Our aim is to:
- Strengthen the cooperation of productive forces that will contribute to Greece’s restructuring.
- Create the appropriate conditions for the brain drain generation to return.
It is the result of combining the Brain Regain and Brain Gain initiatives and it is supported by the Hellenism in Action non-profit organisation.
How it supports repatriation
- Mentoring programme – Executives from the 46 companies participating in the initiative undertake the role of mentor, free of charge. They provide guidance on labour issues in Greece, and highlight the opportunities and prospects opening up for you.
- Job openings – Look for high-level job openings on the BrainGain JOBS in Greece platform, which has been specially designed for attracting Greeks living and working abroad.
- Relocation – You get free advisory to organise and carry out your relocation. If you have children, you get additional advisory for schools in Greece and adjusting to the new environment, as well as supportive guidance for cognitive needs.
What is the mentoring process
Find the contact form on the BrainReGain website. Fill in your details and the employment sector you’re interested in.
The choice of the right mentor for you is based on your answers.
Then you come into direct contact. In 3 meetings you get the opportunity to discuss the developments in Greek entrepreneurship, network with the market, and receive guidance about seeking and managing opportunities.
