What businesses it is addressed to
Confirmation of Letters of Credit (LCs) or Standby Letters of Credit issued by Eurobank, or issuance of Letters of Guarantee (LGs) by foreign banks is addressed to businesses engaged in international trade that import goods from foreign suppliers, as well as to businesses participating in tenders and undertaking projects abroad.
At Eurobank, we ensure the proper execution of the commercial transaction within a specified time frame and in line with the terms and conditions agreed between the 2 parties (the Greek applicant and the foreign beneficiary/supplier).
International programmes we participate in
With the aim of providing foreign banks the ability to confirm LCs / Standby LCs issued by Eurobank, and also for the cases when an LG from an international bank or a local bank in a specific country is required, Eurobank participates in the following programmes:
- Trade Facilitation Programme by the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD).
- Trade Facility Programme by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
