Eurobank EFG has adjusted its interest rates as of 8/3/2006

Following the European Central Bank’s (ECB) decision to raise its prime rate by 0.25%, Eurobank EFG has adjusted its interest rates as of 8/3/2006 as follows:

DEPOSITRATES

Α.     The rates of the European Savings Account, whose return is linked to the ECB rate, are automatically readjusted by 0.25%.

Β.     The current account rates for professionals and small enterprises have been raised by 0.25%.

C.     The savings accounts rates are increased by 0.25%, for balances of up to €30,000.

LOANRATES

The Bank’s lending rates that are linked to the ECB’s base rate have been readjusted accordingly by 0.25%.

For individual loan categories:

Α.

Ø                  The base lending rates for corporates and professionals have been readjusted accordingly by 0.25%.

Ø                  The mortgage rate for small businesses remains unchanged.

Β.

Ø                  The Bank’s basic mortgage rate has been readjusted accordingly by 0.25%.

Ø                  The 3-year fixed mortgage rate has been readjusted accordingly by 0.25%.

Ø                  The 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25-year fixed mortgage rates remain unchanged.

Γ.

Ø                  Rates for consumer credit have been readjusted accordingly by 0.25%.

Ø                  The interest rate of the debt collection and settlement program “En taxei” remains unchanged.
