EFG Eurobank is now providing its customers with the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the Internet and e-Banking and to assess at first hand the advantages offered by the world of electronic transactions. To this end, EFG Eurobank, in collaboration with the InfoQuest company, is providing a complete range of state-of-the-art technical equipment allowing rapid and easy access to the Internet, enabling the Bank's customers to carry out a wide range of banking and stock-market transactions.
EFG Eurobank is now providing its customers with the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the Internet and e-Banking and to assess at first hand the advantages offered by the world of electronic transactions. To this end, EFG Eurobank, in collaboration with the InfoQuest company, is providing a complete range of state-of-the-art technical equipment allowing rapid and easy access to the Internet, enabling the Bank's customers to carry out a wide range of banking and stock-market transactions.
The equipment includes a Multimedia Quest computer, three-months' connection to the Internet through Hellas-on-Line, a 8.4Gb hard disk, CD-ROM, internal FAX / Modem 56Kbps, an INTEL CELERON 500 MHz processor, Windows '98, a 15" screen, Q-Monitor, 2 speakers, keyboard, and mouse. Those interested will automatically obtain the e-Banking PINs which they will use through the EFG Eurobank website at the electronic address www.eurobank.gr. They will be able to:
  • Apply for the Bank's products and receive information on all its new services
  • Obtain the balance and break-down of their accounts
  • Transfer money between their personal accounts
  • Transfer money to the accounts of third parties
  • Settle their Eurobank/Mastercard and Eurobank/VISA credit card accounts
  • Obtain information on foreign currency exchange rates
  • Change their PINs and manage their documentation.
In addition, they will be able to carry out stock-market transactions and business, including:
  • On-line purchase and sale of shares
  • Obtaining information on the position of their portfolio
  • Obtaining information on the pricing of shares and their portfolio in real time
  • Monitoring the progress of purchase and sale orders
  • Immediate debiting and crediting of accounts, in order to provide the opportunity for intra-day trading.
Furthermore, they will be able to:
  • Create virtual portfolios where they can test out alternative scenarios
  • Monitor share prices on the Athens Stock Exchange by sector.
A special financing programme on favourable terms for purchasing the integrated equipment is provided through Eurobank/VISA and Eurobank/Mastercard at a rate of GRD 8,900 a month for a period of 48 months.
