EFG Eurobank SA has concluded a strategic co-operation agreement with Kantor Management Consultants. As part of the agreement, EFG Eurobank will take up a 20 per cent holding in the share capital of Kantor. The EFG Eurobank holding will result partly from a reduction in the holding of the Cyprus Development Bank Ltd.
The objective of the co-operation agreement is the joint promotion of the business interests of the two companies at a time when the business-consultancy sector is steadily expanding and growing very rapidly both in Greece and other countries. The general area of the Balkans and of the former Soviet Union is of particular interest, since the two companies already have active business interests there, with excellent prospects for further development. Kantor Management Consultants is one of the most important firms in its field, with a wide range of private-sector experience in the Greek market and in the wider area of the Balkans, the former Soviet Union and the Black Sea.
In 1995, Kantor was the first consultancy firm to receive ISO 9001 certification. It has submitted an application for its share to be admitted to the Athens Stock Exchange Parallel Market.
