For the first time in Greece, Eurobank is issuing biodegradable cards. One of these is the Personal Banking Debit Visa Card.
They are made of polylactic acid (PLA), a petroleum-free, non-toxic plastic substitute. Less energy is consumed and significantly less greenhouse gases are emitted to produce this material.
When they expire, the biodegradable Eurobank cards can be recycled or composted.

You don’t need to enter your PIN and no signature is required for amounts under €50.
Control over your card
It is easy and secure to manage your debit card through your mobile or computer.
Through your card settings, you can:
- Activate your card and PIN for the first time.
- Choose to have your card reissued or cancelled.
Through Cards Control, you can:
- Temporarily freeze and unfreeze your card.
- Switch on/off the purchase option for certain transactions using your card.
- Switch on/off the ATM cash withdrawal option.
- Change the daily cash withdrawal limit.
Exclusive customer service line
Through the exclusive EuroPhone Personal Banking customer service line, you can pay, transfer money and find out your account balance over the phone. You just need your debit card number and your EuroPhone Banking PIN.
If you lost your debit card, choose to get it reissued through your card settings on your e-Banking or the Eurobank Mobile App. Your card will be cancelled and you will receive a new one. Alternatively, call EuroPhone Personal Banking immediately to notify us of the loss and cancel the card.
