Donation at PNOE – Friends of Children’s Intensiuve Care

During a ceremony today at the Patras General University Hospital, incubators and other medical equipment were presented to the Neonates Intensive Care Unit.

The equipment, worth € 150,000, was purchased under the responsibility of the Association “PNOE – Friends of Children’s Intensiuve Care” and the amount of the donation was collected through transactions made with Euroline card of Eurobank EFG.

The donation is part of an agreement between Euroline and PNOE made on December 29th 2000. Through this agreement, the total amount of € 608,552 has been raised to-date for the Association’s purposes.

With this amount, it has been purchased equipment for the Larisa University Hospital, as well as medical devices for Intensive Care Units of State Hospitals throughout the country.

“PNOE – Friends of Children’s Intensive Care”, a non-profit association, was founded in 1991 by parents, pediatricians and volunteer friends.

Each year, approximately 4,000 children need to be hospitalized in Intensive Care Units.
