Following the agreement signed on 9 June 2004, has finalized EFG Eurobank Ergasias completed the acquisition of 100% of INTERTRUST S.A., from Eureko, parent group of Interamerican S.A, and Novabank, on 26 October 2004, after obtaining all the necessary authorizations.

INTERAMERICAN mutual funds will keep their brand-name and trade mark and will continue to be distributed by the company’s insurance network.
With this acquisition EFG Eurobank Ergasias has strengthened the leading position it already holds through subsidiary EFG Mutual Funds S.A. in the mutual funds market, with total funds under management exceeding € 10 billion and a full range of equity, bond and money market mutual funds.
In addition, EUROBANK and INTERAMERICAN are working on the enhancement of their cooperation on the sales of other financial and insurance products in Greece and in other South-East European markets.
