As part of the Moving Family Forward initiative, we work with the Be-Live NGO, which covers IVF costs for couples living on the eastern borders of the country and launches awareness campaigns for infertility. We actively contribute to supporting young people facing infertility problems, so they may take the next step forward.
Reinforcing the Be-Live support programme for couples with infertility problems
Covering IVF costs
Through Eurobank’s donation, the Be-Live NGO runs a support programme for couples who wish to have children through IVF and live permanently in:
- The regional unit of Evros
- The regional units of Lesvos, Chios and Samos
- The regional units of Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos and Karpathos
The couples included in the Be-Live support programme do not pay for any IVF costs, such as:
- Medical monitoring and doctor’s fees
- Blood tests and pharmaceutical treatment
- Hospital expenses, foetal ultrasounds, etc.
Register for the Be-Live support programme
To register for the IVF support programme, fill out your details in the online form on the Be-Live website.
A Be-Live representative will contact you to inform you about the programme and provide step-by-step guidance in filling out the application to the programme.
Public awareness campaign
The Be-Live NGO also runs seminars targeted to families with infertility issues, as well as the general public. In these, you can find out about:
- Infertility and low birth rates in Greece.
- The Be-Live NGO IVF support programme and how to participate in it.
The seminars aim to raise awareness among our fellow citizens, and inform them about the option of having children through IVF.
Important notice
For a couple to be included in the Be-Live NGO support programme, they must fulfil all the social, financial and medical criteria. Find out the criteria for inclusion in the Be-Live support programme.
