Five performances of the opera “Maria Stuarda” were held by the Teatro alla Scala at the Athens Concert Hall from Thursday March 10th till Friday March 18th 2011 with the exclusive sponsorship of the Eurobank group.
Through this collaboration a unique educational program involving musical activities was implemented for schools with the aim of introducing children to the magic of opera. The program was attended by 5,000 children 9-12 years of age.
The Eurobank group and the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation will support till 2013 the partnership between the Athens Concert Hall and the Teatro alla Scala of Milan. This is a unique collaboration for Greece and one which Eurobank supports with the conviction that opportunities for intellectual growth should be encouraged even during challenging times.
Eurobank in collaboration with the John S. Latsis Benefit Foundation has been publishing since 1993 a luxury publication of cultural content. Since 1997, these publications have been devoted to the most important museums of the country and are part of “The Museums Cycle”.
