The ''Great Moment for Education” program, Greece

Support to education-related programs is a priority for all subsidiaries of the Eurobank group.

In the past few years, major educational initiatives have been developed in three of the countries the Group operates in.

Each year, the Eurobank group, with the support of the Ministry of
Education, Religious Affairs, Culture and Sport awards all high-school graduates who achieve the highest grades in their schools for the nationwide university admission exams. Each award is accompanied by the amount of €1,000 which is deposited in a Eurobank account in the name of the distinguished pupil.
The program covers all pupils attending the country’s 1,700 public, private, daily or night secondary and vocational schools.

In Greece, the “Great Moment for Education” program began in 2001 and till today has awarded a total of 10,663 youngsters.

Moneypedia - A new financial literacy programme   
 

Moneypedia is the first financial literacy programme in Greece aimed at educating the public on financial, as well as business, terms and practices.
It predominantly addresses young people aged 18-25 years and is exclusively available on the internet on www.moneypedia.gr.
Moneypedia is an initiative of the Eurobank Group in cooperation with the Athens University of Economics (AUE).  

 

“High Start with Postbank”, Bulgaria

In Bulgaria, the “High Start with Postbank” program was continued for a 7th year in cooperation with the Ministry for Education, Youth and Science, granting awards to 8th grade pupils from the country’s High Schools.
