Each year, the Eurobank group, with the support of the Ministry ofEducation, Religious Affairs, Culture and Sport awards all high-school graduates who achieve the highest grades in their schools for the nationwide university admission exams. Each award is accompanied by the amount of €1,000 which is deposited in a Eurobank account in the name of the distinguished pupil.The program covers all pupils attending the country’s 1,700 public, private, daily or night secondary and vocational schools.
In Greece, the “Great Moment for Education” program began in 2001 and till today has awarded a total of 10,663 youngsters.
