The funding of the Bank is closely monitored and managed. In addition to funding for the Bank from the depositor base, the interbank money market and the securities repo market, the debt capital markets provide important sources of funding for the Bank.
Presently the Bank has three debt capital markets funding programmes:

- the Euro 25,000,000,000 Medium Term Note Programme for issuance of debt instruments;
- the programme for securitisation of various asset classes. To date, the programme has included
securitisation of credit card receivables, residential mortgage, small business, consumer loans and loans to SME and large corporates.
