The Banking Ombudsman merged with the Investment Ombudsman to operate as a non-profitable civil partnership under the title “Hellenic Ombudsman for Banking – Investment Services” (H.O.B.I.S.) and was approved by the General Assembly of the Hellenic Banking Association.
The H.O.B.I.S. is a self regulatory scheme and its main scope is to examine financial complaints (except insurance ones) in a fair, impartial and open manner, assisting towards an amicable settlement.
The H.O.B.I.S. examines cross-border differences as well as differences that emerge from banking and investment services stemming from Banks or Investment Companies which are addressed to:
